A typical session lasts 45–60 minutes including consultation, mapping, numbing, and injections. You will see an immediate contour from the gel, with firmness and skin quality improving over 6–12 weeks as collagen forms. Results generally last 12–18 months, with many patients choosing a maintenance session around the 12-month mark to keep definition. Preparation: 3–5 days before, minimize alcohol and, if approved by your doctor, pause non-essential blood-thinning supplements (e.g., fish oil, high-dose vitamin E) to reduce bruising. Post-care: avoid heavy exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and hot yoga for 24–48 hours; skip facial massages unless specifically advised; sleep with your head elevated the first night; avoid makeup on treated areas for 12 hours; limit direct sun or high heat for 48 hours; and postpone dental procedures for about 2 weeks.
