Face Plasma
Therapy PRP

Face Plasma Therapy (PRP) uses a small sample of your blood to create platelet‑rich plasma, then places it back into the skin to trigger repair. It helps smooth fine lines, improve texture, and give a fresher look without fillers. PRP also supports hair health by reducing shedding and encouraging thicker strands when applied to the scalp. At Evolution Aesthetics we perform PRP with Eclipse kits on PRP Device1/PRP Device2 for steady, reliable results. Sessions are quick, downtime is usually small, and results build over weeks as your tissue renews. We offer targeted versions for face, neck, and decolette, plus a focused PRP hair plan for thinning.
Stronger hair density and smoother skin with your own plasma
Less shedding and fuller-looking hair
PRP signals follicles to stay in the growth phase longer and increases density over several sessions.
Smoother texture and finer lines
Growth factors stimulate collagen and elastin, softening creases and improving tone.
Natural approach using your own plasma
Using your own platelets lowers the chance of allergy and keeps results looking natural.
Little downtime and quick visits
Most people return to normal activities within 24 hours; a session typically takes under an hour.
Comfortable with numbing
Topical anesthetic and fine needles make the procedure well tolerated.
Year‑round treatment with simple sun care
PRP can be done any season; just use SPF and avoid strong sun for a few days after.

Your own platelets wake up collagen and hair follicles
PRP (platelet‑rich plasma) is made by drawing a small amount of blood, then spinning it in a centrifuge to separate platelets from red and white cells. Platelets carry growth factors such as PDGF, TGF‑β, VEGF, and EGF. When injected or micro‑channeled into skin or scalp, these signals activate local cells: fibroblasts make more collagen and elastin, and dormant hair follicle stem cells get cues to enter the growth phase (anagen). PRP also supports new micro‑vessels (angiogenesis), improving nutrient delivery to follicles and skin. At Evolution Aesthetics we use Eclipse PRP kits on PRP Device1/PRP Device2 in closed, sterile systems that yield a high concentration of platelets with consistent quality. For face, we place PRP into the dermis with fine needles or combine it with microneedling to improve texture and tone. For hair‑loss, we deliver PRP across thinning areas of the scalp using precise spacing and depth to cover the entire affected region.Contraindications
PRP is not right for everyone. Please review the list below and speak to our clinician for personalized advice before booking.
- Active infection, inflammation, or open wounds at the treatment site
- Blood or platelet disorders (e.g., thrombocytopenia, significant anemia)
- Current anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy (e.g., warfarin, high‑dose aspirin) unless cleared by your doctor
- Uncontrolled diabetes or significant systemic illness
- Active cancer or ongoing chemotherapy/radiation
- Autoimmune flare or bleeding disorders
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Severe scalp conditions in flares (e.g., psoriasis, fungal infection, severe dermatitis) until managed
- History of keloid formation or poor wound healing (discuss with clinician)
- Recent use of isotretinoin within the last 6 months for face microneedling approaches (case‑by‑case)

Steady gains in 3–6 sessions; maintain twice a year
Most face PRP plans include 3 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Texture and glow usually improve within 4–6 weeks, with collagen building for 3–6 months; many patients top up every 6–12 months. For hair‑loss, we typically recommend 3–6 sessions, each 4 weeks apart, then maintenance every 3–6 months depending on shedding and goals; reduction in fall‑out often shows by weeks 6–8, with density gains visible by 3–6 months. A visit lasts about 45–60 minutes including numbing; injections themselves take around 15–30 minutes. Before treatment: hydrate well, avoid NSAIDs (ibuprofen, naproxen) and high‑dose aspirin for 5–7 days if medically appropriate, limit alcohol for 24 hours, wash scalp/face, and pause minoxidil the day of scalp PRP. After treatment: avoid touching or washing the area for 8–12 hours; no heavy exercise, saunas, or hot baths for 24 hours; skip NSAIDs for 24–48 hours; resume gentle cleansing the next day. For face, avoid makeup for 24 hours and strong actives (retinoids, acids, scrubs) for 3–5 days; use SPF 30+ and limit direct sun for 72 hours. For scalp, avoid hair dye or harsh chemicals for 48–72 hours and restart minoxidil the next day unless advised otherwise. What works best with Face Plasma Therapy (PRP)?
- Face MicroneedlingMicroneedling creates tiny channels that help your PRP reach deeper layers. This combo can boost collagen, refine pores, and soften acne marks. Many people do them in the same session or within 1 week.
- Hydrafacial for Face or BackA deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation before PRP removes oil and dead cells, so your plasma contacts fresh skin. This can reduce post‑treatment congestion and make the glow show sooner. Do Hydrafacial 2–3 days before PRP or the same day, first.
- LED TherapyRed/near‑infrared LED after PRP helps calm redness and supports recovery. It encourages cellular activity, so results can build faster between PRP sessions. LED can be done right after PRP or within 48–72 hours.
- RF (Radio frequency) Face Skin TighteningRF tightens existing collagen with controlled heat, while PRP improves collagen quality and renewal. Alternating them 2–4 weeks apart often improves firmness and texture more than either alone.
- Exosomes for FaceExosomes add concentrated cell signals that complement the growth factors in PRP. Good if you want stronger rejuvenation or had a mild response to PRP alone. Can be layered after microneedling with PRP or scheduled on alternate weeks.
