The concern
What can low energy or poor recovery mean?
Low energy can mean fatigue, reduced concentration or a slower return to normal after travel, exercise or illness. Dehydration happens when the body loses more fluid than it takes in. These symptoms are not a diagnosis. Persistent fatigue, repeated dehydration or severe symptoms can have a medical cause that needs investigation.
Common causes
Why can energy and hydration change?
Not enough fluid
Hot weather, exercise, fever, vomiting, diarrhoea or simply drinking too little can reduce the body’s fluid level.
Poor or disrupted sleep
Short sleep, travel and changing work hours can affect alertness, concentration and physical recovery.
Physical or emotional strain
Hard exercise, a busy schedule and emotional stress can cause a temporary feeling of fatigue.
Diet and nutrient problems
Irregular meals or a confirmed nutrient deficiency can affect energy. Symptoms alone cannot show which nutrient, if any, is low.
A medical condition or medicine
Anaemia, infection, thyroid problems, diabetes, sleep disorders and some medicines can cause fatigue. A doctor may recommend tests before any IV treatment.
A measured starting point
Start with a 3D skin test
For visible facial skin concerns, the Janus PRO scan gives your doctor objective images and measurements before a treatment plan is made.
It photographs the face with standard, cross-polarised, parallel-polarised and UV light. The system maps visible features such as pores, pigmentation, redness, texture and sebum. Your doctor reviews this information with your medical history and examination to make a more precise facial-skin recommendation. The scan supports the decision; it does not diagnose a condition or select a treatment automatically.
