RF
Microneedling of Face

RF Microneedling of the face (Morpheus8 by InMode) combines ultrafine needles with radiofrequency heat to tighten skin, smooth texture, and soften acne scars. The device delivers energy precisely into the dermis, stimulating new collagen and elastin with little downtime. Most people notice firmer contours and smaller-looking pores over several weeks, with results building after a series. Numbing cream helps keep the session comfortable, and settings are tailored by area and skin tone. At Evolution Aesthetics Clinic we offer: RF Micronedling of face (Morpheus8) on device Inmode; RF Micronedling of face and neck (Morpheus8) on device Inmode; RF Micronedling of face, neck and decollete (Morpheus8) on device Inmode; RF Micronedling of neck and decollete (Morpheus8) on device Inmode; and RF Microneedling face and neck (Morpheus8). This page focuses on the face treatment; your practitioner can advise if adding neck or chest suits your goals.
Real texture change, firmer skin, low downtime
Precise depth targeting for consistent results
Adjustable needle depth and energy let us target fine lines or deeper laxity without overheating the surface.
Firming and contouring without surgery
Bipolar RF tightens the dermis and can remodel shallow subdermal fat for a subtle lift.
Long-lasting collagen remodeling
Your skin keeps building new collagen and elastin for months, so improvements continue after the last session.
Short downtime, get back to routine fast
Most people see 1–3 days of redness and swelling, usually easy to cover after 24 hours.
Works year-round and suits many skin tones
Because energy is placed below the surface, it can be used across seasons and a wide range of complexions.
Comfortable with topical numbing
A strong anesthetic cream plus controlled pulse timing make treatment manageable.

Energy at precise depths rebuilds collagen while protecting the surface
RF Microneedling combines fractional micro-injuries with controlled radiofrequency heating to stimulate dermal remodeling. During treatment, a disposable tip with an array of ultrafine, insulated needles enters the skin to a programmed depth (typically 0.5–4.0 mm). When the needles are in place, the Morpheus8 handpiece delivers bipolar RF energy from the needle tips, creating tiny, uniform zones of thermal coagulation in the dermis while leaving most of the epidermis intact. This heat triggers hemostasis and a wound-healing cascade: fibroblasts make new collagen (types I and III) and elastin, which gradually firms and smooths the tissue. Depth, pulse duration, and energy are adjusted per area—shallow passes for texture and pores; deeper passes to address laxity and contour. Because energy is delivered fractionally and below the surface, recovery is typically quicker than many laser resurfacing methods, with a lower chance of pigment change when parameters are chosen appropriately.Contraindications

3–4 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart, results that build for months
A typical plan for the face is 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart; acne scars or advanced laxity may need additional visits. Results appear gradually: early smoothness can show within 1–2 weeks, while firmer contours and better texture peak around 3–6 months after your last session. Maintenance every 6–12 months helps sustain collagen renewal. A face appointment usually takes 60–90 minutes including 30–45 minutes for numbing; the energy delivery time is about 15–30 minutes. Before: pause retinoids, exfoliants, and hair removal for 3–5 days; avoid tanning for two weeks; arrive with clean skin; consider antiviral tablets if you get cold sores. After: expect redness, warmth, and pinpoint dots; keep skin clean and moisturized; avoid makeup for 24 hours; no gym, hot showers, or saunas for 48 hours; avoid sun and use broad‑spectrum SPF 50+ for two weeks; resume actives like retinoids and acids after 3–5 days unless advised otherwise; do not pick or scrub. Depending on goals, we can combine RF Microneedling with other options for stronger results: PRP (platelet‑rich plasma), chemical peels, HydraFacial, anti‑wrinkle injections, and dermal fillers. What goes well with RF Microneedling of Face?
- Face Plasma Therapy PRPApplying your own plasma in the same session or shortly after boosts natural repair signals, supports quicker recovery, and deepens collagen remodeling. Helpful for acne scars and texture when paired with RF microneedling.
- Exosomes for FaceTopical exosomes right after treatment calm redness and guide the skin’s repair process. They can enhance firmness and even tone, helping you reach visible results with less downtime.
- LED TherapyRed/near‑IR LED after microneedling helps reduce redness and swelling and encourages healing. Plan 2–3 short sessions in the first week to keep recovery on track.
- Hydrafacial for FaceA gentle deep cleanse and hydration 3–7 days before primes skin so RF energy spreads more evenly. Repeat 10–14 days after to clear debris and support barrier recovery.
- Stimulating Face Skin BoosterSchedule 2–4 weeks after RF microneedling to build on new collagen and improve elasticity. Helps refine pores and fine lines while maintaining deep hydration.
