How much is Morpheus8 in Dubai?
Fractional RF microneedling
What does Morpheus8 do?
Morpheus8 by InMode drives a tip of 12, 24 or 40 insulated needle pins into the skin to a set depth between 0.5 and 4 mm, then releases bipolar radiofrequency at the pin tips. The heat coagulates a column of tissue at that depth and leaves the surface between the pins untouched.
Each column triggers wound healing: fibroblasts build new collagen and elastin for 3 to 6 months after the last visit.
At 3 to 4 mm the heat also contracts the fibrous septa in the fat layer, which tightens a soft jawline and jowls.
key facts
Is Morpheus8 right for you?
Morpheus8 suits early to moderate laxity and textural damage. It does not replace a facelift, filler or a peel; these facts decide who we treat.
- Jawline, jowls and neckBest results on a softening jawline, early jowls, neck bands and crepey skin under the chin, usually between 35 and 60 years.
- Acne scars and poresRolling and boxcar acne scars, enlarged pores and rough texture respond over 3 sessions. Deep ice-pick scars need a different method.
- All skin tonesThe energy is released below the surface, so the treatment can be used on dark skin, unlike ablative CO2 lasers.
- Thin fat areasRF microneedling can shrink fat. We keep the needles at 1 to 2 mm over temples, under the eyes and on hollow cheeks.
- Who must not have itPregnancy, a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator, active acne cysts or cold sores, isotretinoin in the last 6 months, keloid scarring.
- TimingBook 3 to 4 sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart and finish 3 weeks before an event; swelling lasts 3 to 5 days.

Your appointment
What happens during Morpheus8 treatment?
A face appointment takes 60 to 90 minutes, including 30 to 45 minutes of numbing cream. The doctor sets a depth for each zone: 3 to 4 mm along the jawline, 1 to 2 mm on the forehead, temples and under the eyes.
The handpiece is stamped across the face in overlapping passes. Each pulse feels like pressure with a brief hot prick; energy delivery takes 15 to 30 minutes.
You leave red and warm, like sunburn, with a grid of pinpoint marks. Makeup goes on after 24 hours; jaw swelling can last 3 to 5 days.

Questions
Questions before you book
How many Morpheus8 sessions do I need?
Three to four sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart, for laxity of the face and neck. Acne scars usually need the full 4 and sometimes more. Collagen keeps building for 3 to 6 months after the last session, so we judge the result then, not at the next visit. One maintenance session every 6 to 12 months keeps the tightening; a single session on its own gives a modest, short-lived change.
Does Morpheus8 hurt?
With 30 to 45 minutes of numbing cream most patients rate it as uncomfortable rather than painful: firm pressure and a short hot prick with each stamp. The jawline, upper lip and neck are the most sensitive zones. We can lower the energy for a pass, and the heat sensation stops as soon as the handpiece lifts. Afterwards the skin feels like a sunburn for a few hours.
What is the difference between Morpheus8 and SkinPen?
SkinPen is mechanical microneedling: fine needles to 0.25 to 2.5 mm with no heat, which improves texture, pores and fine scars with about 24 hours of redness. Read our Morpheus8 or SkinPen guide.
Can Morpheus8 cause fat loss or burns?
Yes, both are documented. On 15 October 2025 the FDA warned about burns, scarring, fat loss, disfigurement and nerve damage after RF microneedling. The risk rises with deep needles over thin areas and high energy on dark skin. We keep the needles at 1 to 2 mm over temples, under the eyes and on hollow cheeks, treat only with insulated tips on the original InMode device, and never treat over a numb or already swollen area.
How long does the downtime last?
Day 1: red, warm and tight with a fine grid of pinpoint marks. Days 2 to 3: swelling along the jaw and under the eyes, pinpoint scabs. Days 3 to 5: swelling gone, skin slightly rough, makeup covers it. By day 7 the grid marks have flaked away. Bruising is uncommon and clears within 10 days. Neck and décolleté skin stays pink a little longer than the face.
Can I combine Morpheus8 with other treatments?
Yes. PRP or exosomes applied straight after the pass use the open channels and shorten redness by about a day; we book PRP Facial or ASCE+ Exosomes in the same appointment. Botox and filler wait 2 weeks either side. HIFU on the same zone waits 3 months. Tell us about threads, filler or an Endolift in the last 6 months before we set the depth.

Lower face, jawline and jowls
The lower face is where Morpheus8 earns its reputation. From the mid-thirties the fat pads of the cheek slide down and the skin along the jaw loses its recoil, so the jawline blurs and the first jowl forms in front of the chin. Here we use the 24-pin tip at 3 to 4 mm. At that depth the radiofrequency reaches the fibrous septa that run through the fat layer and contracts them, which pulls the jawline back into a line, and the dermis above it thickens with new collagen over the following months. The change is real but measured in millimetres: a sharper jaw and a smaller jowl, not the lift of surgery. A patient with heavy jowls or a loose neck that folds when she looks down needs Endolift or a surgical consultation, and we say so at the first visit.
Neck and neck bands
Neck skin is thinner than facial skin and has almost no fat under the chin line, so we drop to 2 to 3 mm and lower the energy. Horizontal neck lines, crepey skin under the chin and the softening between chin and collarbones respond well over 3 sessions. The vertical platysmal bands are muscle and do not tighten with heat; Botox on the bands and Morpheus8 on the skin over them are booked 2 weeks apart.
Cheeks, acne scars and pores
Rolling and boxcar acne scars are depressions where collagen is missing. The needle columns break up the tethered scar floor and the heat stimulates fresh collagen to fill it. Over 3 to 4 sessions at 2 to 3 mm the scars look shallower and the cheek surface smoother under side lighting; enlarged pores on the nose and cheeks shrink as the skin around them firms. Ice-pick scars, which are narrow and deep, do not fill and need TCA or excision. Active acne is treated first: a retrospective review of 356 acne-scar patients found a 3-year acne relapse rate of 24% after a 3-session fractional RF series, compared with 67% after isotretinoin, so the treatment helps the acne as well as the scars, but we do not needle through inflamed cysts.
Forehead, temples and around the eyes
These zones have thin skin over bone and, at the temples and under the eyes, a thin fat layer that must not be heated. We use the 12-pin or 24-pin tip at 1 to 2 mm for crepey lower eyelids, crow's feet texture and fine forehead lines. The effect here is smoother skin, not lifting; heavy brows or hooded lids are a job for Botox or surgery.
Décolleté
Sun damage on the chest shows as vertical cleavage lines, mottled colour and crepey skin that no cream reaches. The décolleté is treated at 1.5 to 2.5 mm across the whole chest in about 20 minutes. Redness lasts a day or two longer than on the face, and we insist on SPF 50 for two weeks because this skin is exposed every day.
What the result looks like and when
Week 1 to 2: the skin is smoother and slightly tighter from the swelling and early healing. Week 6 to 8: the first genuine collagen change, usually noticed as makeup sitting better and a cleaner jawline in photos. Month 3 to 6 after the last session: the peak, when the new collagen has matured. Our results and recovery milestones guide shows this week by week. Results last 12 to 18 months, then ageing continues from a better starting point; one maintenance session every 6 to 12 months holds it.
Morpheus8 compared with the alternatives we offer
The device
Morpheus8 is made by InMode. The tip carries 12, 24 or 40 gold-plated, insulated pins; the insulation means the radiofrequency is released only at the tips, at the chosen depth, and not along the needle shaft, so the surface of the skin is not heated the way it is with older uninsulated RF needles. The FDA clearance (510(k) K200947) lists a treatment depth of 0.5 to 4 mm on the face tips, adjustable in 0.5 mm steps, and the current Burst tips release energy at several depths in one pulse. InMode describes it as the first FDA-cleared fractional RF device for soft tissue contraction. Our device is an original InMode unit bought through the official UAE distributor, uses genuine single-use tips, and we can show you the paperwork.
Morpheus8 versus SkinPen microneedling
SkinPen is a motorised pen with 14 needles that oscillate to 0.25 to 2.5 mm without any heat. It does not tighten. Choose SkinPen for a 25-year-old with pores and post-acne marks; choose Morpheus8 for a 45-year-old whose jawline has softened.
Morpheus8 versus HIFU (Ultraformer MPT)
Ultraformer HIFU focuses ultrasound to heat points at 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm without breaking the skin; the 4.5 mm cartridge reaches the SMAS layer that a surgeon lifts. HIFU gives a lift with no downtime at all; Morpheus8 gives a texture change plus tightening with 3 to 5 days of swelling. Someone with sagging but good skin quality does better with HIFU; someone with scars, pores and laxity does better with Morpheus8. On the same zone we leave 3 months between the two.
Morpheus8 versus Endolift
Endolift threads a 1470 nm laser fibre under the skin to shrink fat and contract the septa from the inside in one session. It is the stronger choice for a fuller lower face and a double chin, and one session replaces a Morpheus8 course. Morpheus8 is the choice when the problem is the skin surface as much as the sag.
Morpheus8 versus Volnewmer monopolar RF
Volnewmer heats the dermis from the surface with monopolar RF and no needles, so there is no downtime and no scabbing, but the heat is spread rather than placed at a chosen depth. It suits patients who cannot accept a week of marks, and thin-skinned zones where we would not needle.
Adding PRP, exosomes or a booster
The needle channels stay open for about 30 minutes after the pass. PRP taken from your own blood or ASCE+ exosomes applied at that moment reach the depth of the columns and, in our experience, shorten the redness by about a day. Profhilo or a Neauvia skin booster is injected 2 weeks after a session, when the swelling has gone, to add hydration to the tightening.
Preparation, aftercare and safety
Before your session
Stop retinoids, glycolic and salicylic acids, scrubs and hair removal on the area 3 to 5 days before. Keep out of the sun for 2 weeks; we do not treat tanned or sunburnt skin because heat on pigmented skin raises the risk of dark marks. If you get cold sores, start your antiviral tablets the day before a face session; the needles can reactivate the virus across the whole treated area. Stop aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil and vitamin E for 5 days if your doctor allows, to reduce bruising. Come with a clean face and no makeup, and eat before you arrive because the appointment lasts up to 90 minutes.
After your session
For the first 24 hours: no makeup, no touching, no active skincare; only the healing balm we give you and a gentle cleanser. For 48 hours: no gym, hot showers, sauna or swimming, because sweat and heat on the open channels cause breakouts and infection. From day 2 apply a plain moisturiser and SPF 50 every morning for 2 weeks. Do not pick the pinpoint scabs; they flake by themselves by day 7. Retinoids and acids restart on day 5. Sleep on your back with an extra pillow for the first two nights to reduce jaw swelling.
Side effects and complications
Expected: redness, warmth and tightness for 1 to 3 days, swelling along the jaw and under the eyes for up to 5 days, pinpoint scabs for a week, mild dryness for 2 weeks. Uncommon: bruising, a breakout of small spots, a cold sore, temporary darkening of the skin (more likely on darker skin and after sun). Rare but serious, and the reason the FDA issued a safety communication on 15 October 2025: burns, scarring, unwanted fat loss with hollowing, and nerve injury causing numbness or weakness. These follow needles set too deep over thin areas, too much energy, or stacked passes. Our side effects guide covers each in detail.
Contact us on WhatsApp the same day if you have a blister, increasing pain after day 2, spreading redness, pus, a patch of skin that looks dented, or new numbness. We see you at the clinic rather than advise by message.
Who should not have Morpheus8
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding. - A pacemaker, implanted defibrillator or deep brain stimulator: radiofrequency can interfere with them. - Metal implants, threads or filler placed in the treatment zone within the last 6 months. - Active acne cysts, cold sores, impetigo, eczema, psoriasis or a rosacea flare in the area. - Isotretinoin in the last 6 months, or a history of keloid or hypertrophic scars. - A bleeding disorder or blood thinners not cleared by your prescriber; uncontrolled diabetes; an autoimmune flare or immunosuppression. - Cancer under active treatment or radiotherapy to the area; a fresh tan or sunburn.
Our care standards
Evolution Aesthetics Clinic holds DHA Polyclinic License 6000514. Dr Yulia Krasnaya and Dr Vera Nikulina are DHA-licensed doctors who treat within their approved scope and do the treatment themselves; a nurse does not operate the handpiece. The device is an original InMode Morpheus8 from the official UAE distributor with genuine single-use tips, and the paperwork is available on request. You leave with written aftercare and our WhatsApp number, and we check your skin at 4 to 6 weeks before booking the next session.
Questions
Preparation and recovery questions
When can I wear makeup after Morpheus8?
After 24 hours, once the pinpoint channels have closed. Use a clean brush or fresh sponge and mineral or non-comedogenic makeup for the first week, and take it off with a gentle cleanser, not a scrub or wipe. Concealer covers the day 2 to 5 pinkness well; the grid marks need until day 7 to flake.
Can I exercise after Morpheus8?
Not for 48 hours. Sweat, heat and a raised pulse increase swelling and push bacteria into the open channels, which causes small spots along the jaw. Walking is fine. Gym, running, hot yoga, sauna and swimming restart on day 3, with SPF 50 if you train outside.
Does Morpheus8 work on dark skin?
Yes. The heat is released at the needle tips below the surface, and the insulated needles protect the epidermis, so Morpheus8 is used on Fitzpatrick types IV to VI where ablative lasers are avoided. We lower the energy on darker skin, insist on no tan for 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after, and check for any darkening at the follow-up. Temporary post-inflammatory darkening is still possible and fades over weeks.
How soon before a wedding or holiday should I book?
Finish the last session at least 3 weeks before the event, so the swelling and any bruising have cleared and the day 7 flaking is over. For the full course, start 5 to 6 months ahead: 3 to 4 sessions 4 to 6 weeks apart, and the collagen peaks 3 to 6 months after the last one. No sun holiday for 2 weeks after any session.
