Botulinum
Therapy

Appointment
Botox is an injection treatment that relaxes overactive facial or body muscles to soften lines and ease tension-driven concerns like jaw clenching. It targets dynamic wrinkles caused by repeated expressions, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Sessions are quick, results appear within days, and the look remains natural when dosing is planned well. At Evolution Aesthetics, we use Botox/Dysport/Kseomine and source all products only from official suppliers. We offer focused treatments for Crow’s Feet, Forehead, Glabella, Abdomen, Bruxism, Nose (bunny lines), Gummy Smile, Full Face, and Buttocks Lift. The effect is temporary and adjustable, so your plan can be refined over time to fit your goals.

Smoother lines in days, precise dosing, minimal downtime

Targets dynamic wrinkles at their source
Botox relaxes the small muscles that crease the skin, which creams or lasers cannot fully address.
Fast visits with easy return to routine
Typical appointments take 15–30 minutes and you can go back to most activities right away.
Early, visible change within days
Softening usually starts in 3–7 days and peaks around two weeks.
Results last for months
A smoother look commonly holds 3–4 months, sometimes up to 6 months depending on the area and your metabolism.
No incisions or sutures
Ultra‑fine needles and optional numbing make this a non‑surgical treatment with a simple aftercare routine.
Effect wears off naturally
Nerve signaling restores over time, so the outcome is temporary and dosing can be adjusted each visit.

Botox: Before and After

1 session: Crow's Feet
1 session: Glabella
1 session: Forehead and Glabella
1 session: Forehead and Glabella

Muscle signals paused so lines soften from within

Botox uses a purified botulinum toxin type A (also available as Dysport and Kseomine) to temporarily block the release of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter that tells a muscle to contract. By binding at the neuromuscular junction and affecting SNAP‑25–dependent vesicle release, it reduces the strength of muscle contraction in the treated area. Less pulling on the skin means dynamic wrinkles (like frown lines, forehead lines, and crow’s feet) become less visible as the surface relaxes. This is not a filler; it does not add volume. Dosing is measured in units and mapped to specific muscles (for example, corrugator and procerus for the glabella, orbicularis oculi for crow’s feet, masseter for bruxism). Onset typically begins within 48–72 hours, peaks around 10–14 days, and then gradually declines as new nerve terminals form over 3–4 months. We source all products only from official suppliers and use precise, area‑specific techniques to keep results natural and coordinated with your facial expressions.

Contraindications

  • Neuromuscular disorders (e.g., myasthenia gravis, Lambert‑Eaton syndrome, ALS).
  • Active infection, rash, or cold sore at the treatment site.
  • Known allergy to botulinum toxin or to formulation components (e.g., human albumin).
  • Uncontrolled bleeding disorders or use of anticoagulants not coordinated with your clinician.
  • Recent facial surgery or deep skin procedures in the target area (until cleared by your practitioner).
  • Active systemic illness or fever.
  • Current use of aminoglycoside antibiotics or certain muscle relaxants that may interact.
  • History of severe adverse reaction to any botulinum toxin injection.

Natural look in about 2 weeks, upkeep every 3–4 months

Most people need one treatment per area followed by a check‑in at 10–14 days, when small top‑ups can be added if needed. Results start to show in 3–7 days, peak at around two weeks, and typically last 3–4 months (sometimes up to 6 months, especially in areas like the masseter for bruxism). Session time is usually 15–30 minutes, including mapping and injections. Before your visit: come with clean skin, limit alcohol for 24 hours, and avoid aspirin/NSAIDs for 3–5 days if your prescribing clinician agrees. After your visit: stay upright for 4 hours, avoid rubbing or pressing the area, skip strenuous exercise, hot yoga, saunas, and steam rooms for 24 hours, and delay facials or facial massage for about 1–2 weeks. Sun exposure does not directly affect Botox, but avoiding excess heat for the first day helps reduce swelling and bruising. We provide tailored plans for the areas we treat: Botulinum Toxin for Crow’s Feet (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Forehead (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Glabella (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Abdomen (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Bruxism (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Nose (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Gummy Smile (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), Full Face (Botox/Dysport/Kseomine), and Buttocks Lift (Botox/Dysport). Your practitioner will personalize dosing for a subtle, balanced result that matches how you move and express.
