How it works

Deep cleanse with serum infusion: how Hydrafacial works

Hydrafacial combines vacuum‑assisted exfoliation with fluid dermabrasion and targeted serum delivery. A spiral tip creates a vortex that lifts debris and oxidised sebum from pores while bathing the surface in solutions tailored to your skin: a cleansing prep, a mild peel (often a glycolic/salicylic blend) to loosen congestion, controlled suction to extract impurities, and a final infusion of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. Because the skin stays continuously hydrated during treatment, mechanical friction is reduced and actives spread evenly. On the face, we can add LED and lymphatic steps in the Platinum version, or use the EVO Method to concentrate passes on your key concerns. For the back, larger tips and higher solution volumes address widespread congestion and uneven texture efficiently. Each pass is calibrated for flow, vacuum level, and serum type to target results with minimal irritation.

Treatment plan

Fast sessions and lasting clarity: your treatment plan

Most people see clearer pores and a healthy glow after one session. For stubborn congestion, oiliness, or back breakouts, plan a series of 3–6 treatments spaced every 2–4 weeks, then maintain every 4–6 weeks. Typical timing: Hydrafacial Signature Facial ~30 minutes; Hydrafacial EVO Method Facial ~45 minutes; Hydrafacial Platinum Facial ~60 minutes; Hydrafacial of Back ~45–60 minutes depending on area size. Before your appointment: pause topical retinoids and strong acids for 3–5 days, avoid waxing/laser/peels for 7 days, limit tanning, shave excessive back hair 24 hours prior if needed, and arrive with clean skin. After your appointment: use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser, apply broad‑spectrum SPF 30+ daily, skip hot yoga/steam/sauna, swimming pools, and heavy workouts for 24 hours, and avoid exfoliants and retinoids for 48 hours. If needed, light non‑comedogenic makeup can be used the next day. For back care, change out of sweaty clothing promptly and keep the area dry and clean.
