How it works

ClearLift 4D on the Alma Harmony XL PRO uses Q‑switched Nd:YAG laser energy (primarily 1064 nm, with optional 532 nm) delivered through a fractional pixel tip. Each ultra‑short pulse creates a controlled photoacoustic wave in the dermis: microscopic zones of stress that stimulate fibroblasts without vaporising the epidermis. This non‑ablative, micro‑injury pattern triggers a wound‑healing cascade—new collagen (types I and III) and elastin are produced, gradually firming skin and improving fine lines, pores, and texture. The “4D” approach refers to layered passes at different depths and modes: superficial toning for brightness, mid‑dermal remodeling for lines and pores, and targeted passes for delicate areas (around eyes and mouth) and overall tightening. Before your visit: avoid direct sun and tanning for 2 weeks, pause retinoids and strong acids for 3–5 days, and skip waxing or harsh scrubs on the area. After your visit: use gentle cleanser and moisturizer, wear broad‑spectrum SPF 30+ daily, avoid hot yoga/sauna and vigorous exercise for 24 hours, and hold retinoids/acids for 3–5 days.
