RF (Radio
frequency) Face Skin Tightening

RF (Radio Frequency) Face Skin Tightening, also called RF Lifting, uses controlled heat to firm lax skin and soften fine lines. At Evolution Aesthetics, we perform it with the InMode Forma platform known for very even energy delivery. The treatment is non-surgical and comfortable, with no needles and little to no recovery time. It suits most skin tones and can be used all year with straightforward aftercare. We offer RF Skin Tightening of face, neck, and decollete (Forma) to refine contours and improve skin texture. It’s a good option if you want gradual, natural-looking improvement without changing your facial features.

Uniform RF heat remodels collagen and elastin—no needles, just controlled warmth
RF Lifting with InMode Forma uses bipolar radio frequency to deliver controlled, even heat into the dermis while a real-time temperature sensor tracks the skin surface. Heating the dermal matrix to a therapeutic range tightens existing collagen (by shortening and reorganizing its triple-helix structure) and triggers fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin over time. Forma continuously monitors impedance and temperature, adjusting output to maintain a consistent target heat across the area. This uniform energy delivery helps avoid hot or cold spots and supports predictable outcomes on the face, neck, and decollete. The epidermis is protected because RF energy bypasses pigment, making it suitable for a wide range of skin tones. You feel gradual warmth as the handpiece glides over the skin in overlapping passes until the target temperature is held for several minutes.Contraindications

Visible lift in weeks, minimal disruption: a straightforward plan
Most people do a course of 6–8 weekly sessions for the face to reach a noticeable, longer-lasting lift and smoother texture. Neck and decollete can be treated in the same course or as add-ons, often with 6–8 sessions as well. A typical_face_appointment lasts about 30–45 minutes; neck or decollete take 20–30 minutes per area. Subtle tightening is often felt after the first 1–2 sessions, with collagen remodeling building over 8–12 weeks. Maintenance is usually every 1–3 months, depending on skin quality, age, and goals. Before your visit: hydrate well, avoid retinoids and acid exfoliants for 48 hours, arrive with clean skin, and remove metal jewelry. If you are prone to cold sores, ask about prophylaxis for perioral areas. After treatment: expect mild warmth or pinkness for up to a few hours. Use gentle skincare and SPF 30+, avoid very hot showers, sauna, or intense workouts for 24 hours, and pause strong actives (retinoids, high-strength acids) for 24–48 hours. Makeup can be applied the same day if needed. We offer RF Skin Tightening of face (Forma) on InMode, as well as neck and decollete (Forma), so plans can be adapted to treat all three for balanced results. What goes well with RF Face Skin Tightening?
- Hydrafacial for FaceDeep cleans and infuses hydration, removing oil and dead cells that block even heating. A clean, hydrated surface lets RF glide better and work more uniformly. Do it 3–7 days before to prep the skin, or 7 days after to rehydrate and boost glow without irritation.
- LED TherapyGentle red/near‑infrared light calms redness after RF and encourages cell repair and collagen activity. This short add‑on helps you bounce back quicker and supports tighter, smoother skin over the next weeks. Can be done the same day or within 48 hours.
- RF Microneedling of FaceIf you also want to refine pores, scars, and deeper lines, add RF Microneedling to your plan. It targets deeper layers while standard RF tightens more broadly. Alternate sessions 3–4 weeks apart rather than same day to reduce heat load and get steadier progress.
- Face Plasma Therapy (PRP)PRP uses your own plasma rich in growth factors to speed recovery and stimulate collagen after RF. Expect better skin quality, fewer fine lines, and improved bounce. Schedule it 1–2 weeks after an RF session, or build a course that alternates RF and PRP.
- Hydrating Face Skin BoosterMicro‑droplets of hyaluronic skin booster lock in moisture and improve elasticity, which helps maintain the firm look gained with RF. It also smooths crepey areas that RF alone may not fully plump. Add 2–3 weeks after RF for a calm, hydrated finish.
