Plinest Gel for facial skin

Plinest Gel is an option when the goal is better skin quality rather than a change in facial shape. We assess texture, fine lines and elasticity alongside your current skin care and previous treatments. The gel holds water within the treated tissue. Clinical studies suggest improvements in skin appearance, but the size and duration of the benefit vary.

Small Plinest studies have reported changes in elasticity and appearance over several months. Evidence remains limited: studies differ in their methods, and some have no comparison group. This does not justify a promise to rebuild all collagen, reverse ageing or give a lifting result.

Plinest Eye for the delicate eye area

Plinest Eye is a distinct formulation for skin around the eyes. It is not simply the same face treatment with a new name. We discuss whether your concern is thin-looking skin, fine texture, pigment, a shadow or swelling before recommending it.

Dark circles can have several causes at once. Better skin quality may soften their appearance without removing the underlying cause. A course of Plinest Eye cannot be relied on to correct prominent eye bags or substantial volume loss. We explain when a different assessment or treatment is more suitable.

Choosing between skin boosters, Botox and fillers

These treatments address different problems. Botox reduces selected muscle movement. Structural fillers replace volume in selected areas. Plinest treatment focuses on skin quality, although an injected gel and early swelling can temporarily change fullness. We do not promise that it causes no volume change.

The most useful starting point is the change you want, not a product name. If expression lines are your main concern, our Botox treatment page explains that option. A combined plan requires its own assessment; one treatment does not make another necessary.

Before the appointment

Bring a list of medicines and supplements, including blood thinners and pain medicines. They can affect bleeding and bruising. Do not stop prescribed medicine on your own. Tell us about previous fillers, skin treatments, cold sores, unusual scars and any past reaction to an injectable.

Tell us if you have an autoimmune condition, reduced immunity, cancer treatment or a condition that affects healing. These need medical review before an elective injection. Give us details of current or recent isotretinoin, rather than choosing a waiting period from a general online checklist.

After the appointment

Follow the written instructions for your exact product and treated area. For Plinest Gel, manufacturer guidance advises no makeup for 12 hours and avoiding prolonged sun or UV exposure, sauna and steam until the red marks have healed. We explain the plan for Plinest Eye at your appointment.

Keep the area clean and handle it gently. Ask us when to resume exercise, active skin-care products, facials or other cosmetic treatment. Your recovery and the next treatment matter more than copying another person’s timetable.

Review your response

We explain when to return and what changes to watch for. Bring up persistent bumps, swelling, discomfort or an uneven appearance. Do not book extra injections to correct an early result without review. Your longer-term plan may include maintenance, a different approach or no further injections.

When injections should wait

We do not use Plinest in people with a known allergy to its ingredients or fish-derived products, or inject through infected or inflamed skin. Plinest treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for people under 18, or for people with autoimmune disease. We discuss suitable alternatives or timing.

Possible unwanted effects

The injections can cause pain, bruising, swelling, redness and raised points. Around the eyes, even modest swelling may be noticeable. Infection and allergic reactions are possible. We explain material risks for the selected product and area before you consent.

Contact us promptly for symptoms that worsen or fail to settle. Painful, hot, swollen skin or feeling unwell can indicate infection and needs urgent medical assessment. Do not assume that every reaction is normal healing.

Get emergency medical help immediately for trouble breathing, swelling of the tongue or throat, or collapse. Do not wait for a routine clinic reply.
