Exosomes are tiny bubbles (extracellular vesicles) naturally released by cells. They carry proteins, lipids, and genetic messages (mRNA/miRNA) that tell other cells what to do. ASCE+ HRLV is a lyophilized (freeze‑dried) exosome preparation with 10 billion purified exosomes per vial, plus a curated blend of growth factors and nutrients for the scalp. Most people start with 3 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart. For advanced thinning, we may recommend 4–6 sessions, then maintenance every 4–6 months to hold gains. A typical visit takes 30–60 minutes, including scalp prep and either microinjections or SkinPen microneedling to help the exosomes penetrate. Before your appointment: arrive with a clean, dry scalp; avoid hair fibers, heavy styling products, retinoids, and acids on the scalp for 24–48 hours; check with your prescriber before changing any blood thinners or other medicines. After your appointment: avoid washing your hair for 12–24 hours; skip hot showers, saunas, pools, and hard workouts for 24 hours; limit strong sun/UV exposure for 24–48 hours and consider a hat; restart minoxidil or other topicals after 24–48 hours if you use them. You may notice less shedding in 4–8 weeks, improved density and thickness from 3–6 months, and continued gains with maintenance. Results vary based on age, genetics, hormones, and scalp health. Many people combine exosomes with SkinPen microneedling, PRP, LED/low‑level laser therapy, or scalp mesotherapy for a layered approach.
