Laser Lip Rejuvenation and Whitening
Want to improve lip-area texture or the appearance of uneven dark pigment? At Evolution Clinic in Jumeira, our doctors use the ClearLift handpiece on the Alma Harmony XL PRO for lip rejuvenation. This non-ablative laser can address selected fine lines and pigment concerns, but it cannot add lip volume or change your natural lip colour. We assess the cause of discoloration and explain what result is realistic for you.
How it works
How ClearLift works on the lip area
ClearLift is a Q-switched 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser handpiece on the Alma Harmony XL PRO. Its short pulses deliver energy without removing the outer skin layer. Our doctor may use it for the appearance of fine lines, texture and selected areas of excess lip pigment. “Whitening” means a possible reduction in unwanted dark pigment; it does not change your natural lip colour. Pigment has different causes, and laser response varies. Evidence for lip lightening is limited, so we assess the area and explain realistic results before treatment. ClearLift does not inject material or add lip volume.

ClearLift can soften the appearance of fine lines around the lips. Your result depends on your skin and treatment plan.
Uneven tone assessment
Our doctor checks the cause of dark or uneven lip colour before recommending laser treatment.
No added volume
This laser treatment targets skin quality. It does not add the volume that a lip filler can provide.
Non-ablative treatment
ClearLift does not remove the skin surface. Temporary redness or sensitivity can still occur.

Your visit, recovery and results
At your visit, our doctor asks what you want to change, checks the lips and surrounding skin, and explains the expected benefit and limits. If uneven colour is your concern, we assess its cause before recommending laser treatment. You receive protective eyewear during treatment. The number and spacing of visits depend on your skin and response; we do not promise a fixed course or result.
After treatment, the area may feel warm or show temporary redness or sensitivity. Follow the aftercare instructions we give you. Protect the treated area from strong sun and use suitable sun protection on the skin around the mouth. Tell us about cold sores, recent treatments, medicines and active skin problems before your visit. ClearLift does not add lip volume.

Tell our doctor about your health, medicines and recent skin or lip treatments. We assess suitability before laser treatment and may postpone it or suggest another option.
- An active cold sore, infection, open wound or marked irritation in the treatment area.
- Recent strong sun exposure, sunburn or a fresh tan on the treatment area.
- A history of unusual scarring, pigment changes or poor healing.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding, under our clinic assessment policy.
- Recent lip filler or other treatment in the area; our doctor will advise on timing.
- Medicines or skin products that affect light sensitivity or healing; do not stop prescribed treatment without your prescriber’s advice.
