Brows Tatoo
Laser Removal

Brows Tattoo Laser Removal at Evolution Aesthetics is a targeted way to fade or fully remove unwanted brow microblading or tattoo pigment. We use the Alma Harmony XL PRO Q-Switched laser, tuned for brow inks, to break pigment into tiny particles that your body clears over time. The treatment is quick, focused, and designed to protect your natural brow hair and surrounding skin. Many people see visible lightening after the first session, with steady fading across a short course of treatments. Downtime is minimal: mild frosting or redness can appear and usually settles within days. Your plan is personalised to the pigment colour, depth, and your skin tone.
Precise clearance with minimal downtime and tailored control
Precise on-brow targeting
Q-Switched wavelengths focus on ink particles while preserving surrounding skin and natural brow hair.
Efficient, short sessions
High-energy, ultra-short pulses mean quick appointments and focused passes on problem areas.
Low discomfort
Cooling and very brief pulses help keep the procedure tolerable for most people.
Minimal downtime
Typical after-effects are brief redness, swelling, or frosting that settle within 24–72 hours.
Adjustable fading: partial or full
We can lighten gradually, stop when you like the tone, or continue to full removal.
Dual wavelengths for more colours
1064 nm targets dark pigments; 532 nm helps with red and warm tones common in PMU.

Targets pigment while preserving brow hair and skin
We use the Alma Harmony XL PRO with a Q-Switched Nd:YAG handpiece. This laser emits extremely short nanosecond pulses that deliver photoacoustic energy into the ink. The shockwave breaks pigment clusters into tiny fragments without relying on heat to the same degree as many other devices. Your immune system then clears these fragments over time through natural lymphatic processes. We select 1064 nm for darker inks and deeper pigment, and 532 nm for red, orange, and warm tones often found in cosmetic brow pigments. Brow hair is protected with cooling and technique, though temporary lightening of hair can occur. A patch test is often performed, especially for iron-oxide pigments that can initially darken; technique adjustments and wavelength selection help manage this. Protective eye shields are used, and parameters are customised to your skin type (Fitzpatrick I–VI), pigment depth, and treatment goals.Contraindications
Not everyone is a good candidate for laser brow ink removal. The items below commonly require postponing treatment or a detailed consultation with our practitioner.
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active skin infection, dermatitis, or open wounds in the brow area
- Recent microblading or brow tattooing within the last 4–6 weeks (allow full healing first)
- Recent significant sun exposure or self-tan on the area (within 2–3 weeks)
- Use of isotretinoin within the last 6–12 months
- History of keloid scarring or poor wound healing
- Photosensitising medications or medical conditions (requires assessment)
- Uncontrolled diabetes, epilepsy triggered by light, or other unstable medical conditions
- Active psoriasis, eczema, or vitiligo in the treatment area
Steady fading in focused sessions spaced for best clearance
Most clients need 3–8 sessions for microblading or cosmetic brow tattoos; older or deeper inks may require more. Sessions are typically spaced 6–8 weeks apart to let your body clear fragmented pigment and to reduce the risk of irritation. Each visit usually takes 15–30 minutes, including cooling and aftercare. Before treatment: avoid sun, tanning products, and brow tinting for 2 weeks; stop acids/retinoids on the area 5–7 days prior; arrive with clean skin and no makeup on brows. After treatment: cool compresses as needed, keep the area clean and dry for the first day, avoid makeup on the brows for 24–48 hours, no picking or scratching, skip hot tubs/saunas and swimming for 48–72 hours, and apply a gentle moisturiser as directed. Use SPF 50 daily and limit sun for 2–4 weeks. Temporary frosting, redness, swelling, or light crusting can occur and usually settles within days. Brow hairs can turn slightly lighter temporarily; normal growth resumes and tinting can be considered after the skin has settled, usually in 1–2 weeks. What goes well with Brows Tatoo Laser Removal?
- Specialist Dermatologist Consultation with 3D Skin TestStart with a skin check to map pigment depth and your skin type. This helps plan the number of sessions, laser settings, and home care so you get steady fading with fewer side effects.
- LED TherapyRed and near‑infrared LED calms redness and swelling after each laser visit. Book it 48-72 hours post-session to support healing and make downtime easier.
- Exosomes for FaceExosome serum supports repair signaling and helps even out tone. Used a few days after each removal session, it can shorten recovery and reduce the chance of dark spots.
- Face Plasma Therapy PRPYour own plasma is rich in growth factors that help the skin bounce back. Schedule it 7-10 days after a session to boost recovery around the brows and improve skin quality.
- Brows MicrobladingAfter the tattoo is fully removed and the skin heals (usually 6-8 weeks after the last session), microblading restores shape and color with a tone that matches you, avoiding color mixing.
