Icoone treatment can cause redness, tenderness or bruising. A non-invasive appointment still needs health screening and a pressure level that you can tolerate. More suction or discomfort does not prove a better result.
At Evolution Clinic, body treatment and facial treatment have different scopes. Our Icoone face and body page explains the available services and how to arrange an assessment.
Explain your health and treatment history
Tell us about pregnancy or breastfeeding, vascular disease, cancer treatment, medicines and any condition that affects healing or sensation. Bring details of previous treatment in the same area, including surgery, fillers, threads and injections.
We do not proceed with cosmetic device treatment when there is active phlebitis, a suspected blood clot or an active tumour. These require medical care first. A past condition or remission needs an individual decision and, when appropriate, input from the treating doctor.
Skin infection, open wounds or an inflamed area can mean postponing treatment. Tell us about easy bruising, blood thinners, fragile capillaries and implants. Do not stop prescribed medicine on your own to make a cosmetic appointment possible.
Body and facial programmes are not interchangeable
The clinic's Icoone Laser body programme can combine mechanical microstimulation with light energy. Our face, neck and décolletage services use mechanical treatment. An instruction for one programme should not automatically be applied to the other.
For light-based body treatment, tell us about photosensitivity and medicines that can increase it. The practitioner explains the selected programme and protection. We confirm which areas and services are included before treatment begins.
Speak up during the appointment
The handpieces can create a rhythmic suction or rolling sensation. Some areas feel more sensitive than others. Tell the practitioner when pressure feels painful, rather than endure it in the hope of faster progress.
The plan should be adjusted to your skin and response. A visible bruise is not proof that cellulite has been removed or that the treatment was particularly effective. We assess discomfort and unexpected skin changes on their own merits.
What to do afterwards
Follow your written aftercare. Use gentle care if the skin is sensitive, and ask before applying a strong active product or scheduling another cosmetic treatment in the same area. There is no single interval that fits every injection, operation or device session.
Keep to your normal medical advice about fluids. Forcing extra water is not a way to prove that massage has removed fat or toxins. Tell us about planned travel or activities so that we can discuss practical timing.
When swelling needs medical care
New, painful or unexplained swelling should not be treated as a cosmetic drainage problem. One-sided swelling, redness or heat needs prompt medical assessment. Breathlessness or chest pain with swelling requires emergency help. NHS guidance on swelling explains why those symptoms need attention.
Contact the clinic about persistent or worsening tenderness, swelling or bruising after a session. Do not book further massage to correct a reaction before it has been assessed.
Review benefit as well as tolerance
A course should have a clear goal and review point. Discuss whether the original skin concern has changed, how treatment feels and whether continuing is worthwhile. A package size does not establish how much treatment you need.
The Icoone body-treatment guide explains the mechanics and how to assess results. Safety decisions belong alongside that discussion, rather than appear only after a package has been purchased.
We use original devices from authorized suppliers and work within our licensed scope. We explain benefits, risks, alternatives and the complete price before consent, then provide written aftercare and a route for follow-up.
