Body cellulite and skin texture

Cellulite is a common skin feature, including in people who are slim and active. It is not a disease that everyone needs to treat. If its appearance bothers you, we assess the skin and agree a specific goal rather than promise a new body shape.

Body treatment can focus on suitable areas such as thighs, buttocks, abdomen or arms. A longer booking gives time to cover more agreed areas; it does not automatically mean a stronger treatment or a better result. We offer 30, 60 and 90 minute body appointments and explain the coverage before you book.

Icoone Laser body technology includes Roboderm microstimulation, a 915 nm laser and 650 nm LED. These specifications describe the device. They do not show that a particular session will remove fat, release fibrous bands or give a fixed improvement.

Face, neck and décolletage

Our face service and our neck and décolletage service use mechanical Icoone treatment. We discuss skin texture and a temporarily fresher appearance without promising a facelift or removal of deep wrinkles. A concern caused by lost volume, marked loose skin or another condition may need a different approach.

Tell us about fillers, botulinum toxin, threads, dental or facial surgery, peels and other recent treatments. We decide on timing with the relevant practitioner when needed. One waiting period does not fit every treatment.

Puffiness is not always a cosmetic concern

A new or persistent change in swelling needs assessment of its cause. Icoone is not a substitute for medical care for a blood clot, heart disease or lymphoedema. We do not use a cosmetic session to diagnose or treat unexplained swelling.

Agree what progress means

Before a course, tell us whether your main concern is body dimpling, skin texture or facial puffiness. We discuss whether Icoone can reasonably help. Where photographs are useful, comparable lighting and posture help us assess change. A photograph taken immediately after massage does not establish a lasting effect.

We do not promise visible results after one visit, a fixed course length or an exact number of months of benefit. We review your response and comfort before recommending further appointments.

Prepare for your visit

Bring your medicine list and details of previous cosmetic or medical treatment in the planned area. Do not stop prescribed medicine to reduce bruising without advice from the prescriber. Tell us about any skin irritation and planned treatment at another clinic.

After your session

Follow the written aftercare for your programme. Use gentle skin care if the area feels sensitive and contact us about persistent pain, swelling or bruising. Keep to your normal medical advice on fluid intake; drinking extra water is not proof that a treatment removes fat or toxins.

Tell us about your health

We do not provide cosmetic Icoone treatment with active phlebitis, a suspected blood clot or an active tumour. Medical care takes priority. A past condition or cancer in remission needs individual medical advice before treatment.

We review pregnancy or breastfeeding, cancer or ongoing cancer treatment, heart or vascular disease, poorly controlled blood pressure or diabetes, and any history of blood clots or inflamed veins. These details may change whether, where or when we treat.

Tell us about blood thinners, bleeding disorders, easy bruising, fragile capillaries, implanted electronic devices, metal implants, hernias and reduced sensation. For light-based body treatment, also tell us about photosensitivity, epilepsy and medicines that affect sensitivity to light, including recent isotretinoin or other retinoids.

Skin and recent treatments

We do not treat through open wounds or an active skin infection. Let us know about cold sores, dermatitis, eczema, sunburn, inflamed acne or a rosacea flare. Recent surgery, threads, fillers and botulinum toxin need review before massage of the same area. We can postpone a visit or obtain advice from your treating doctor.

When to seek medical help

Sudden, painful or unexplained one-sided swelling needs urgent medical assessment. Redness or heat with swelling also needs prompt assessment. With breathlessness or chest pain, get emergency medical help; do not wait for a massage appointment or a routine clinic reply.

We explain the treatment, material risks, alternatives and total price before consent, then provide written aftercare and a clear route for follow-up. Authentic equipment and trained care do not remove every risk.
