Start with the condition of your skin
Tell us about eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, cold sores, recent sunburn and any open or infected area. Also point out a new or changing skin mark. Some concerns need medical review rather than treatment over the top of them.
A sensitive-skin history does not describe every reaction you might have. The exact solution, suction level and recent treatment of the area also matter. We explain why we may adjust the plan or recommend postponement.
Medicines and ingredients matter
Bring your skincare and medicine list, especially products that irritate or thin the skin, and treatments applied to the same area. Tell us about ingredient allergies and pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The current manufacturer guide includes pregnancy/lactation and several active skin conditions in its exclusions. It also tells operators to stop for severe irritation or suspected allergy. What should I report afterwards?
Tell us if a reaction becomes more intense rather than settling, if the skin is painful or swollen, or if you think a product has caused an allergy. Give us the timing and the areas affected. We can then arrange the right advice and review.
Do not try to treat a new reaction with several unfamiliar products. That can make it harder to understand what happened. Follow the written care instructions and check before adding strong actives or another facial treatment.
Can I have it just after another treatment?
Timing depends on what was done. Injectables, peels and lasers have different recovery needs. Tell us about all recent treatment, even if it happened elsewhere or the surface already looks normal. We review healing and the applicable product instructions before proceeding.
