Before you leave the clinic
We explain the products used, any temporary reaction to expect and how to contact us. Ask us to check your normal routine if it includes retinoids, exfoliating acids, scrubs or other active products. Do not assume that every product can be restarted on the same evening.
Tell us if you have an important event or another treatment booked. We would rather plan a sensible interval than add several treatments too close together.
Protect the treated skin
Use the sun-protection advice in your written aftercare. The manufacturer recommends SPF 30 or higher after treatment. Do not interpret smoother-feeling skin as a reason to spend more time in the sun. Official HydraFacial instructions.
If the area feels irritated, check with us before using a new product. A scrub or extra peel is not a necessary finishing step. Report a worsening reaction rather than waiting until your next planned facial.
Why there is no single interval for every combination
A filler appointment, a surface peel and an ablative laser treatment affect tissue differently. We need the treatment name, date and area to assess the next step. Recovery and the instructions for the actual device or product determine the plan.
For example, current manufacturer guidance separates injectables from medical peels and requires healing after invasive or ablative treatment. We use the relevant instructions with your clinical assessment; a generic online timetable cannot account for everything you received.
Should HydraFacial become a monthly appointment?
It can be repeated when it fits your needs, but monthly treatment is not an obligation. The brand's FAQ describes different schedules. At Evolution Clinic, we review your skin response, your goals and whether the previous visit gave you a useful benefit.
Keep a simple record of the treatment date and any products that caused irritation. That helps us distinguish a treatment response from a new skincare reaction at the next consultation.
