Endospheres for Cellulite and Lymphatic Drainage: What to Expect

Understand Endospheres body and facial treatment, realistic results, manual massage differences and when swelling needs medical assessment.

Body treatment performed with a rotating-sphere handpiece at Evolution Aesthetics Clinic

Endospheres is a mechanical treatment that uses rotating spheres to apply compression and vibration. People may consider it for body cellulite appearance or selected facial-care concerns. Any benefit can be temporary, and a cosmetic session is not treatment for unexplained swelling.

At Evolution Clinic, body treatment, machine face massage and the manual facial add-on have different scopes. Our Endospheres treatment page explains the combined service options.

How compressive microvibration works

As the handpiece moves, its spheres apply repeated pressure and vibration. The programme and intensity are chosen for the area and the person's response. Facial work uses an appropriate facial handpiece; a body programme should not simply be transferred to the face.

The mechanism explains why treatment can feel like a firm, rhythmic massage. It does not prove that the device removes toxins, destroys fat or produces the same result for everyone. Tell the practitioner if a sensation is painful or unexpected.

What results can it offer?

A goal may be a change in visible cellulite or skin texture, rather than a new body shape or dress size. A temporary change in puffiness is also different from fat loss. We assess the underlying concern before recommending a cosmetic approach.

A small 2024 body study reported skin and ultrasound changes after a treatment course, with observations two months afterwards. It had no untreated comparison group. That evidence cannot establish permanent results, predict your response or prove an effect for facial or manual massage. Read the study.

How long do results last?

No fixed duration can be promised. Follow-up in a study is a measurement period, not an expiry date or proof of a lasting effect beyond that period. Some people may consider maintenance, while others may not see enough benefit to continue.

Agree a review point before committing to more appointments. Comparable photographs can help assess skin appearance. Avoid judging progress by daily weight changes or photos taken with different posture and lighting.

Machine face massage or manual facial massage?

Endospheres Machine Face Massage uses the device's facial handpiece and an assessed programme. The Face Lifting Manual Massage Add-on uses the practitioner's hands. It is a separate service, not a different name for the machine treatment.

We confirm which option you are booking, its purpose, duration and charge. A full-body appointment does not automatically include either facial service. Research about the body device does not establish the outcome of a hands-on facial.

Recent injections, threads, peels, dental treatment or surgery can change when massage is suitable. Tell us exactly what was done and where. We assess the timing rather than recommend one interval for everyone.

When to postpone treatment

Tell us about pregnancy, medicines, blood-clot history, vascular conditions, cancer treatment, implants and active skin problems. Infection, wounds or a medical problem can make cosmetic massage unsuitable. Do not stop a prescribed medicine to attend a session without advice from its prescriber.

Sudden, one-sided, painful or unexplained swelling needs medical assessment. With breathlessness or chest pain, get emergency help. Aesthetic massage is not a substitute for diagnosis or specialist lymphoedema care.

Aftercare and the next decision

Follow the written instructions for your programme. Contact us about worsening pain, swelling, tenderness or bruising. Keep to your usual medical advice on fluids; forcing extra water does not demonstrate that fat or toxins have been removed.

If you are comparing mechanical options, the Icoone body guide describes a different handpiece system. We discuss the options, risks, full price and review plan before consent. You can decide to continue, change approach or have no further treatment.
