Body treatment for cellulite appearance

Our Endospheres Lymphadrainage Therapy Full Body service covers the areas agreed during assessment. These may include thighs, buttocks, abdomen and arms. We explain where the treatment may help and where a different approach is more suitable.

Cellulite is common and can occur in people who exercise and maintain a stable weight. Cosmetic treatment is a choice. The aim is a realistic improvement in skin appearance, without promising a particular dress size, weight change or permanent removal of dimples.

Facial machine massage

We assess your facial skin, puffiness and recent treatment before choosing the handpiece and settings. We do not apply a body programme to the face. A change in puffiness is not the same as replacing lost volume or lifting marked loose skin.

Tell us about fillers, botulinum toxin, threads, peels, dental work or facial surgery. We may postpone massage or coordinate timing with your treating practitioner. There is no single waiting period that fits every combination.

Manual facial massage is a separate option

The Face Lifting Manual Massage Add-on in our service list uses the practitioner’s hands. We explain its purpose, suitability and separate service if it is proposed. Research about the Endospheres device does not establish the effects of this manual service.

Medical swelling needs medical care

Persistent swelling, lymphoedema and swelling after surgery require diagnosis and an appropriate care plan. Cosmetic device massage is not a substitute for specialist lymphoedema care. Do not book treatment to manage new, painful or unexplained swelling without medical assessment.

Review the change you wanted

We agree a specific concern and review whether your response supports further treatment. Photographs taken with similar lighting and posture can help compare the skin over time. An immediate change after massage is not proof of a permanent result.

What the research can tell us

A small 2024 study followed 27 women receiving a course of Endospheres body treatment. It reported improvements in skin appearance and ultrasound findings, with follow-up after two months. The study had no untreated comparison group. It cannot predict your result or establish that the same effects occur with facial or manual massage.

Courses and maintenance

We do not promise a fixed number of visits, a universal interval or a guaranteed duration of benefit. Your starting point, comfort and response guide the plan. We discuss whether maintenance is useful rather than assume every patient needs regular repeat treatment.

Comparing Endospheres with Icoone

Both use mechanical stimulation, but the handpieces differ. Endospheres applies compression and vibration through rotating spheres. Icoone uses rollers and controlled suction; its body Laser programme can also use light energy. We explain the options after assessment.

Before your appointment

Tell us about pregnancy or breastfeeding, cancer or cancer treatment, blood clots, phlebitis, severe varicose veins, heart disease and poorly controlled blood pressure. We also review blood thinners, bleeding disorders and a tendency to bruise. Do not stop prescribed medicine on your own.

Bring details of recent surgery, liposuction, fractures, fillers, botulinum toxin, threads, peels or other treatment in the planned area. Tell us about hernias, implanted devices, metal implants, osteoporosis, fragile capillaries or reduced sensation. These details can change the programme or mean treatment should wait.

We do not massage through open wounds or active skin infection. Let us know about fever, acute illness, cold sores, inflamed acne, dermatitis, eczema or a rosacea flare. Treatment of an irritated or recently treated area may need to be postponed.

After treatment

We give you written aftercare suited to your treatment and skin. Most routine activities are usually possible, but tenderness or bruising can affect your plans. Keep skin care gentle if the area feels sensitive and contact us if pain, swelling or bruising persists or worsens.

Keep to your usual medical advice about drinking fluids and activity. There is no need to force extra water to prove that massage has worked. Tell us about other planned treatments so that we can advise on timing.

When to seek urgent help

Sudden or unexplained swelling, particularly on one side, needs urgent medical assessment. Pain, redness or heat with swelling also needs prompt assessment. With breathlessness or chest pain, get emergency medical help rather than wait for a treatment visit or a routine clinic response.
