Hydration and skin quality

What does Mesoten Aqualight do?

Mesoten Aqualight is an injectable skin booster designed for deep hydration and improved skin quality. It combines hyaluronic acid, succinic acid and peptides to help skin feel more supple and elastic, with a smoother, more radiant appearance.

You may hear this described as “Glass Skin” or “Dolphin Skin”: skin that looks smooth, hydrated, luminous and firmer. These names describe the look people want; they do not promise a particular result. At Evolution Clinic in Jumeira, our doctors assess your skin and discuss whether Mesoten suits your goals.

key facts

Is Mesoten right for your skin?

We look at your skin, medical history and previous treatments before recommending injections.

  • Hydration and radianceFor people seeking a fresher, smoother appearance when skin looks dull or feels dehydrated.
  • Skin qualityThe aim is improved suppleness and texture. A skin booster cannot promise a facelift or erase every line.
  • Assessment before treatmentWe review allergies, medicines and skin conditions, then explain the product, alternatives and risks before you consent.
  • Allow for recoveryTenderness, redness, swelling and bruising can occur. Infection and allergic reactions are also possible; persistent or worsening symptoms need medical review.

Your treatment

What happens at your appointment?

We examine your skin and discuss the changes you want. Tell us about previous injectables, allergies, medicines and any recent skin irritation or infection.

If treatment is suitable and you choose to proceed, your doctor cleans the skin and gives small injections in the agreed area. Brief stinging and tenderness are possible. We discuss comfort measures before starting.

You receive written aftercare and a follow-up plan. Leave time before an important event: injection marks, swelling or bruising may be visible, and your recovery can differ from someone else’s.

Questions

Questions before you book

What is in Mesoten Aqualight?

The formula contains hyaluronic acid, succinic acid and a peptide ingredient. Hyaluronic acid binds water; the combination is intended to support hydration, suppleness and smoother-looking skin. We explain the exact product used for your treatment before you decide.

Can Mesoten give me glass skin?

“Glass Skin” and “Dolphin Skin” describe a smooth, hydrated, luminous look. Mesoten is used with that goal, but skin still has pores and natural texture. Your starting skin condition and response affect the result. We cannot promise poreless skin, a filter-like finish or the same appearance as a photograph.

Is Mesoten the same as Botox or filler?

No. Mesoten Aqualight is positioned as a skin-quality treatment. Botox reduces activity in selected muscles, while volumising fillers change volume or contour. A peptide in the Mesoten formula does not make it interchangeable with prescribed botulinum toxin. Your doctor recommends an option based on the cause of your concern.

How many sessions will I need?

A course may be discussed, but we assess your skin and review your response before recommending further sessions. The number and spacing depend on the product instructions, treatment area and clinical assessment. We explain your proposed plan at the consultation.

How long do results last?

There is no reliable duration we can promise for every patient. Changes and their persistence depend on your skin, treatment plan and response. We agree when to review your progress instead of promising a fixed number of months or treating temporary swelling as the final result.

Who should postpone treatment?

Tell us if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active infection or irritated skin in the proposed area, or have reacted to an injectable or any ingredient. We also review medicines, bleeding problems and conditions affecting healing or immunity. We may postpone treatment or recommend another approach after assessment.

Mesoten Aqualight and the glass skin look

Hydration, texture and a realistic goal

Skin that feels dry or looks dull can have more than one cause. Our assessment looks for irritation, an underlying skin condition and other concerns that an injectable may not address. A skin booster is not a substitute for treating a rash or infection.

The aim of Mesoten Aqualight is better hydration and skin quality: greater suppleness, a smoother appearance and more radiance. Firmer-looking skin does not mean a surgical lift, and an improvement in surface texture does not mean pores disappear.

What “Glass Skin” and “Dolphin Skin” mean

These beauty terms describe a smooth, hydrated, luminous appearance with a plumper, firmer look. They are not medical diagnoses or standardised measures of treatment success. Lighting, makeup and skin care also affect how this look appears in photographs.

We discuss changes you can assess on your own skin, rather than a finish borrowed from social media. Early swelling should not be mistaken for a lasting improvement. There is no requirement to repeat treatment if the benefit does not justify it for you.

Choosing between skin treatments

Different injectables are not interchangeable simply because they are called skin boosters. Their ingredients, intended use and treatment plans differ. A consultation can help separate a concern about hydration or texture from expression lines, loss of volume or a skin condition needing medical care.

Preparing for treatment and recovery

Before your appointment

Bring details of previous injections and other recent facial treatments, including their dates and any reactions. Tell us about medicines and supplements, especially anything affecting bleeding. Do not stop prescribed medicine yourself to prepare for a cosmetic treatment.

Tell us about pregnancy, breastfeeding, allergies, recent illness, active cold sores, skin infection or inflammation. We use this information to decide whether treatment should go ahead, be postponed or be replaced by another option.

After your appointment

Follow the written instructions for your treatment. Ask your doctor when to touch or massage the treated area, apply makeup, restart irritating skin-care products or arrange another facial treatment.

Redness, tenderness, swelling or bruising may affect your plans. Recovery varies, so avoid scheduling treatment immediately before an occasion where visible marks would concern you. We explain how to contact us if you are unsure about a symptom.

Review before further sessions

At follow-up, we assess both your response and any unwanted effects. Further treatment is a new decision, not an automatic step. Tell us about any injections or skin treatments received elsewhere before continuing.

Mesoten risks and our care standards

Possible unwanted effects

Injections can cause pain, redness, tenderness, swelling and bruising. Infection, allergic reactions and persistent lumps or inflammation are also possible. A careful assessment and appropriate technique reduce avoidable risk, but no injectable treatment is risk-free.

Contact us promptly about worsening redness, warmth, swelling, discharge, fever, persistent lumps or symptoms that are not settling as expected. Severe or increasing pain, unusual pale or dusky skin, or any change in vision after a facial injection requires urgent medical assessment. Difficulty breathing or swelling of the tongue or throat needs emergency medical help.

Your consultation and consent

Evolution Aesthetics Clinic holds DHA Polyclinic License 6000514. Our doctors assess and treat within their licensed scope and clinical privileges. We obtain authentic products through official, authorised suppliers and follow the required storage and handling instructions.

Before you decide, we explain the proposed product, expected benefits, material risks, alternatives and limitations. You receive written aftercare and a clear route for follow-up. A consultation can also lead to a recommendation for different care or no injectable treatment.

How strong is the evidence?

Product information describes the intended benefits, but it does not establish how much an individual patient will improve or how long the result will last. We do not promise a particular percentage improvement, permanent hydration or a guaranteed glass skin finish.

Questions

Preparation and recovery questions

Will I be able to go out afterwards?

You may feel well enough for everyday activities, but injection marks, redness, swelling or bruising can be visible. Recovery is individual. Leave flexibility around work, photographs and social events, and follow the activity advice your doctor gives you.

Can I combine Mesoten with another treatment?

Tell us what you have recently had and what is booked next. Combining or closely spacing injections, peels, lasers or other facial treatments can complicate recovery and make a reaction harder to assess. We decide the sequence after reviewing your skin and the specific treatments.
