Information to give us before treatment
Bring details of medicines, health conditions, implanted devices and previous treatment in the planned area. Tell us about pregnancy or breastfeeding, an active skin problem, reduced sensation and a history of unusual healing.
An implanted electronic device, such as a pacemaker, is a major reason not to proceed with RF treatment. Metal in the treatment area also needs specific review. Give the clinician the implant details rather than assume that all devices or locations are equivalent. FDA guidance on RF body-contouring technology describes these restrictions.
Tell us about recent fillers, threads, surgery, peels or other energy-based treatments. One online waiting period cannot safely cover every combination. We check the relevant area and treatment history before agreeing timing.
What the appointment should include
The treatment tip and settings are selected for the plan. You should understand which areas are included and how the clinic will review the response.
During treatment, tell us if heat becomes intolerable or you feel sharp pain. Do not stay silent because you think discomfort proves that the treatment is working. We can adjust or stop when required.
Expected reactions and problems to report

Keep aftercare practical
Follow the written instructions from your appointment. Handle sensitive skin gently and ask before restarting strong skin-care products or adding another treatment. Use the sun-protection advice agreed with your clinician.
Tell us about plans involving heat, exercise, swimming or a major event so that we can discuss timing. Do not stop prescribed medicine, apply an unadvised product or repeat treatment to speed recovery. A plan made for a friend or a different RF device may not fit your situation.
Will I need time off?
Some people return to ordinary activities soon after non-invasive tightening. That does not mean there can be no visible reaction. Build flexibility into plans when redness, swelling or tenderness would matter.
A low-downtime description is not a guarantee of an event-ready face the next morning. Give us enough information about your schedule to make an informed decision before booking.
Separate recovery review from result review
An early check can address discomfort or an unwanted reaction. A later review considers whether the intended skin change occurred. Do not delay a safety concern while waiting to judge the final result.
