RSL Sculpting is a mechanical body treatment, so health and skin conditions that affect massage suitability matter. Bruising, pain or unexplained swelling should not be dismissed as proof that the treatment is working.
What should be checked before booking?
Tell us about pregnancy, recent surgery, infection or fever, bleeding problems, medicines that affect bruising and any medical advice to avoid massage. Serious heart or kidney disease, ongoing cancer care and other significant conditions need a clinical discussion.
A list on a website cannot clear someone for treatment. We ask about your current condition and the specific area, then explain whether the treatment is appropriate or should be postponed.
Is swelling always suitable for massage?
No. Swelling has different causes. A new, painful or one-sided swollen area needs medical assessment rather than a routine RSL appointment. Do not book a course to try to work through an unexplained symptom.
Tell us whether the swelling is new, whether it changes during the day and whether you have had surgery or a medical diagnosis. Those details help determine the correct next step.
Can RSL cause bruising?
Mechanical pressure can produce bruising or discomfort. The FDA’s overview of massage and vibration methods includes these possible reactions. Report pain during treatment; pressure should not be increased just to create a stronger sensation.
If marked bruising, pain or swelling develops afterwards, contact the clinic. We review what happened instead of automatically continuing the next session.
What if I am pregnant?
Tell us before booking. Do not assume a non-invasive treatment is suitable during pregnancy. The manufacturer’s technical article includes pregnancy in its contraindication discussion. We make a specific suitability decision rather than promise a routine course.
What should I do after a session?
Follow the advice given for your health and treatment. Normal hydration is sensible. There is no need to drink excessive water to flush toxins or fat, and a temporary reduction in puffiness does not prove fat destruction.
A course should be reviewed if it is painful, provides little benefit or no longer fits your goal. Compare RSL and Endospheres if you want to understand the methods, but seek assessment first for a new symptom.
