Local reactions after treatment
Bruising, redness, swelling, tenderness, itching or small palpable bumps can occur. The extent and duration vary. Follow the recovery instructions you receive and tell us about symptoms that worsen or do not follow the expected course.
Do not squeeze a bump or add a massage routine from another injectable. Persistent lumps, delayed inflammation or a new reaction need assessment. The name skin booster does not make every bump harmless or establish how it should be treated.
Symptoms requiring prompt or urgent care
Increasing heat, spreading redness, discharge or feeling unwell can need prompt medical review. Unusual or severe pain, white, grey or blue skin, a visual change or stroke-like symptoms require immediate medical attention. Contact the clinic urgently as well.

Product and medical history matter
Restylane is a family of products. The exact formulation and treated area determine the appropriate instructions. Tell us about allergies, previous reactions, bleeding conditions, prescribed medicines, supplements and earlier fillers or boosters. Bring treatment records if available.
Do not stop prescribed medicine to prepare for an elective treatment without advice from the prescriber. Active infection or inflammation may mean postponement. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are reasons to defer elective treatment when safety has not been established for the product.
Sun, skincare and other treatments
The manufacturer's Vital instructions advise avoiding excessive sun or extreme cold while swelling or redness remains. Your own plan may include other precautions according to the area and formulation. Vital instructions.
Tell us before arranging a peel, laser treatment, dental procedure or another injection. We assess timing from skin recovery and the proposed treatment rather than give the same interval to every combination. Do not stop prescribed skincare or add strong products without appropriate advice.
