Which information should I bring?
Tell us about allergies, previous product reactions, eczema or dermatitis, active infection and recent sunburn. Bring the names of active skincare products, prescribed skin treatments and any recent peel or laser treatment.
A reaction to a previous facial can be relevant even if you do not know the exact ingredient. Describe when it started and how it changed. We use that information to decide whether to proceed, change the plan or seek a medical assessment.
Does sensitive skin rule out treatment?
Not automatically, but sensitive skin is not a reason to skip assessment. Dryness can occur on otherwise comfortable skin or alongside inflammation and a damaged surface. Those situations may need different care.
We explain the formulation proposed for you. A product advertised as soothing, natural or hydrating can still contain an ingredient you do not tolerate. Pregnancy and breastfeeding also need a formulation-specific discussion rather than a blanket promise about all needle-free treatments.
What can happen after the facial?
Redness, irritation or a rash can develop. If discomfort persists, worsens or is accompanied by swelling, contact the clinic. Do not keep applying new products to try to cancel a reaction.
Rapidly progressing allergic symptoms or difficulty breathing need urgent medical attention. A non-injectable route does not make those symptoms safe to ignore.
How should I care for my skin?
Follow the guidance for the serum used and your skin condition. Avoid introducing several new active products at once: if a reaction occurs, that makes the cause harder to assess. Ask us before arranging a peel, needling or energy treatment on the same area.
There is no single mandatory aftercare timetable for every Dermadrop formulation and every patient. We give advice for the actual treatment rather than borrow instructions from an unrelated facial.
Should I book before an important event?
Allow time to understand your response, especially for a first visit or a new serum. No facial can guarantee an absence of visible reactions. If the event is close, tell us before booking so we can discuss whether the timing is sensible.
