Fine lines and uneven texture can make your skin look less smooth. LDM applies ultrasound through a handpiece to help improve skin quality. HELEO4 combines cosmetic products with light, adding a different form of skin care to the facial.
Both steps work from outside the skin, without injections. At Evolution Clinic in Jumeira, the products and light option are chosen for your skin concern and sensitivity.

What happens during the facial?
The LDM handpiece moves over the skin to apply ultrasound. HELEO4 uses topical products and a light device, with eye protection during the light step. Let your practitioner know how your skin feels throughout the facial.
Before you leave, you receive skin-care and sun-protection instructions for the products used. Message us on WhatsApp to arrange your visit and tell us which skin concern you want to address.

What does LDM do?
LDM means Local Dynamic Micromassage. It uses rapidly changing ultrasound frequencies through a handpiece on the skin. It is used for skin-quality concerns such as fine lines and texture. It does not inject a product or remove the skin surface.
What does HELEO4 add?
HELEO4 pairs cosmetic skin-care products with light. It has a different role from the ultrasound handpiece: the products and light option are selected for your skin, as part of the combined facial.
How many sessions will I need?
Your starting concern and the visible response guide repeat visits. We compare texture and fine lines in the same areas, under similar lighting, and check how your skin feels before arranging further treatment.
Can it treat acne or rosacea?
A facial does not replace medical care for acne, eczema or rosacea. If the skin is inflamed, painful or breaking out, we assess the cause first. Cosmetic skin care may be considered alongside treatment when the skin can tolerate it.
What is the difference between HELEO options?
Our regular HELEO4 option has three light colours; the upgraded option has six. The light option is chosen for your skin, and we confirm which one is included when arranging your visit.

Ultrasound through a handpiece
LDM uses high-frequency sound waves delivered through a handpiece on the skin. Our service uses Skinova on the MED platform. This part of the facial focuses on skin-quality concerns such as fine lines, texture and reduced firmness.
Light and topical skin care
HELEO4 combines cosmetic products with light. The product choice and light option are selected for your skin; this step uses a different method from ultrasound.
Follow changes in the skin surface
Look at the same areas in consistent lighting when comparing texture and fine lines. Gradual changes are more useful to follow than the appearance immediately after product application. Your skin response guides the choice and timing of further visits.
Getting ready for your facial
Bring a list of your skin-care products and medicines, and tell us about recent cosmetic treatments, allergies, light sensitivity or pregnancy. Keep prescribed treatment unchanged unless your prescriber advises otherwise.
Active infection, broken skin or a new rash needs attention before a facial. Persistent acne, eczema or rosacea may need medical treatment alongside cosmetic skin care. Temporary redness, irritation and product reactions are possible.
Keep your skin comfortable afterwards
Follow the product and sun-protection instructions supplied after your facial. Give irritated skin time to settle before exfoliation, peels or another device treatment.
Contact the clinic if burning, redness or a rash persists or becomes worse. Eye pain or a change in vision needs urgent medical care.

Planning your visit
Can I book before an event?
Leave time after a first appointment for your skin to settle. This is useful when the products are new to you, as temporary redness or sensitivity can occur.
Can I use my usual skin care afterwards?
Your aftercare instructions explain which products to use and when to restart anything that needs a pause. Bring your usual product list to the appointment.
Can I have the facial alongside other skin treatments?
Yes, when the timing and your skin condition allow it. Tell us about planned treatments so the appointments can be spaced around healing.
