Pregnancy
Massage

Pregnancy massage is a supported massage session adapted to the stage of pregnancy, comfort and medical guidance. It can be considered for general back, shoulder or leg tension and for relaxation when the pregnancy is uncomplicated and the maternity clinician has no concerns. The therapist asks about the pregnancy, symptoms and medical advice, then changes positioning, support cushions and pressure. The session does not use one standard massage plan for every patient. Pregnancy massage does not treat pregnancy complications. Bleeding, abdominal pain, severe headache, sudden swelling, high blood pressure concerns, fever, reduced fetal movement or any other urgent symptom requires maternity assessment, not massage. Patients with a high-risk pregnancy or a new medical concern should obtain approval from their obstetric clinician before booking.
