Microneedling
Face Microneedling at Evolution Aesthetics uses the medical‑grade SkinPen to improve texture, pores, fine lines, and mild acne scars. The treatment creates tiny, controlled micro‑channels that prompt your skin to build fresh collagen and elastin. We offer two versions: classic Microneedling on SkinPen, and SkinPen with meso and vitamins for added hydration and radiance. Most people notice a smoother look and better tone with minimal downtime. Redness usually settles within 24–48 hours, and results build steadily over several weeks.
Real collagen boost with minimal downtime
Precise treatment on delicate areas
SkinPen’s adjustable depth targets forehead, nose creases, and around the eyes without heat or bulk energy.
Short sessions, quick recovery
A full‑face session takes about 30–60 minutes, and most people resume normal routines within 24–48 hours.
Low‑discomfort with numbing
Topical anaesthetic and high‑speed oscillation help keep the procedure comfortable.
Results that build and last
Collagen remodelling continues for months after a course, extending skin improvements beyond the treatment days.
Works for all skin tones, year‑round
No heat means a lower risk of pigment changes compared with many lasers; daily SPF is still important.
Non‑surgical texture and pore refinement
Smooths fine lines, softens acne scars, and reduces the look of enlarged pores without injectables or surgery.

Microneedles trigger collagen and enhance serum delivery
Microneedling is a controlled micro‑injury technique that uses a pen with sterile, single‑use needle cartridges to create thousands of tiny channels in the skin. SkinPen drives these needles at a precise speed and depth (typically 0.25–2.5 mm), which activates the body’s wound‑healing cascade: platelets release growth factors, fibroblasts increase collagen I/III and elastin, and new micro‑vessels form. This process—called collagen induction—reorganises damaged tissue and improves texture, scars, and fine lines. The channels also increase the absorption of active ingredients. In our SkinPen with meso and vitamins option, a tailored blend (such as hyaluronic acid and vitamins) is applied to hydrate and nourish while the channels are open, boosting glow and recovery. The classic SkinPen option focuses purely on mechanical collagen stimulation without additional actives.Contraindications

Visible improvement in 6–12 weeks with 3–6 sessions
Most clients need 3–6 sessions of Face Microneedling, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. You will usually notice early improvements in texture and radiance within 1–2 weeks, with more obvious change at 6–12 weeks as new collagen matures. Acne scarring or deeper lines may need the higher end of this range or occasional top‑ups. A typical appointment lasts 45–60 minutes including consultation, cleansing, topical anaesthetic, and treatment. Redness and a tight feeling are common for 24–48 hours; mild flaking can follow. Pre‑care: pause retinoids, acids, and exfoliants for 3–5 days; avoid active breakouts, sunburn, and tanning beds for one week; arrive with clean skin; consider pausing blood‑thinning supplements after medical advice. Aftercare: use a gentle cleanser and bland moisturiser for 2–3 days; avoid makeup for 24 hours; skip heavy workouts, hot baths/sauna, swimming pools, and alcohol for 24–48 hours; do not pick or exfoliate; apply broad‑spectrum SPF 30+ daily. If you choose SkinPen with meso and vitamins, expect a stronger glow and hydration, with similar downtime. Maintenance is typically 1 session every 6–12 months, depending on skin goals. - Face Plasma Therapy PRPPRP works very well with microneedling. The microchannels help your own plasma soak in deeper, delivering growth factors where they are needed most. This can calm redness faster, boost collagen, and improve acne scars and texture. Many clients add it in the same visit for stronger, longer-lasting change.
- LED TherapyRed and near-infrared LED after microneedling helps reduce redness and swelling. It supports faster recovery and gives a gentle collagen signal without heat. Blue LED can also keep pores clear if you are acne-prone. Do it the same day or within 48 hours for a smoother next-day look.
- Hydrafacial for Face or BackBook a Hydrafacial 3-7 days before microneedling to lift dead skin, clear pores, and load the skin with water-binding serums. Clean, even skin lets the needles glide and reach a uniform depth. This can make results more even and lower the chance of congestion after the session. It also helps skin feel comfortable while it heals.
- Hydrating Face Skin BoosterSkin boosters rich in hyaluronic acid lock in deep hydration after microneedling. The fresh microchannels improve absorption, so skin looks bouncier and fine lines soften. Plan this 1-2 weeks after your session or alternate the two in a course. Better hydration also supports a brighter, more elastic look.
- Xomage Face Exosomes TreatmentExosomes used right after microneedling act like cellular messengers that guide repair. They can shorten downtime, ease redness, and improve texture and tone by nudging skin to rebuild. Many people notice a smoother feel within days. Best done in the same week as microneedling for strong synergy.
