How it works
Dual action: reduces acne activity and boosts collagen
ClearSkin (Alma Harmony XL PRO) uses a 1540 nm non-ablative Er:Glass laser delivered in controlled pulses with integrated vacuum and contact cooling. The energy penetrates the epidermis without removing it, heating the mid-dermis to disrupt Cutibacterium acnes and thermally impact overactive sebaceous glands, which helps reduce oil production and future breakouts. The vacuum helps bring follicles closer to the beam and assists with clearing debris, while cooling protects the skin surface and adds comfort. This thermal stimulation also triggers fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin, gradually improving acne scars, enlarged pores, and uneven texture. Because the effect is sub-ablative (no open wounds), recovery is quick and results accumulate across a course of treatments.

Most people need 4–6 ClearSkin sessions, spaced 2–3 weeks apart; stubborn or widespread acne may require 6–8. Sessions for a full face typically take 20–30 minutes. Many notice calmer skin and fewer new spots after 2–3 sessions, with continued improvement in texture and marks over the full course. Maintenance every 2–3 months can help keep oil and breakouts under control if your skin is acne-prone. Before your appointment: avoid tanning beds and intense sun for 1–2 weeks, use daily SPF 30–50, stop retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and acids for 3–5 days, and avoid waxing/threading/depilatory creams on the area for 7 days. Arrive with clean skin and tell us about any new medications. After treatment: expect mild redness/heat for a few hours; use cool compresses if needed, a gentle cleanser, and a non-comedogenic moisturiser. Avoid hot baths, steam rooms, and heavy workouts for 24–48 hours; avoid scrubs, acids, and retinoids for 3–5 days; wear SPF 50 daily for 2 weeks; do not pick or squeeze lesions.
